Take the Limits off

Take the Limits Off

And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: Gen 12:2 (KJV)

God keep his promises…

In the beginning God made promises to his people. He is not a person that he should lie.  We have to learn to Trust God and Obey.

You may be faced with some tough situations in your life and you may not can see your way out. It is a our natural response to try to figure things out in regards to our personal situations of life. But we have to also stand on the “promises” of God to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

As Christians, we know that are hope and strength lies in God. God takes care of his own. Looking back over all the ways that he has made in the past should give one reassurance that he has their back.  We can not operate in a spirit of fear ( Phil 4:6-8 )

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Just this this past week, we saw a mighty move in regards to miracles being performed and God making provisions for our outreach program. On a  monthly basis we serve hundreds of families in our community. Our program is ran strictly off of donations from church members and a partnership with a local food agency where most of the food that we receive is free. On the previous Wednesday that we were opened, the shelves were literally empty. As I hug the last patron, I was thinking to myself  “God we need to be able to do more” , the lady responded to my gesture with sincere thanks. God knows are heart and he hears our thoughts and prayers. I had no idea what was to happen in the following days. On Friday I received a message from our  wonderful Pastor that someone wanted to make a monetary donation to the outreach ministry.  This donation was more than enough for us to fill the shelves and the deep freezers. We were so excited of this miracle because we knew that without a miracle the doors would need to be closed.

We give God all the glory for making a way when it seem like there was no way. God has made provision for the vision. You just have to be obedient and trust him along with being in position to be blessed.

Encourage your Self

Book of the Bible ( Psalms 116)

Book of the Bible ( Psalms 116)

Book of the Bible ( Psalms 116)

We all have some good days and some bad days. Sometimes it seems like things will not change. You can go on for days even nights wondering when will the ” Change ” come for me. I must say that I to have been that person who has asked the question but I have learned that you can not go on how things are looking or even off how I may be feeling. The best thing that I have learned is not to focus on my situation but to focus on how I have been blessed in other situations and trust God to make as ways as he has done so many times before.

God has never left me nor has he forsaken me or my family.   In the past 12 months, I have been faced with some very difficult situations in my health as well as list some very dear family members. We have been faced with some difficult times in regards to financial situations. I dare not to go into details on just how difficult the times have been because that would defeat the purpose of this post. It is my desire and encourage someone that may be feeling like it’s just too much for me, hopeless and down.  It is not part of God ‘s plan to to cause harm to any of us.

In the middle of last year after my surgery a God should be in word the scripture Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

For now, this scripture is my motto and one that is helping me on a daily basis. When I am struggling the hardest, I  find myself quoting this over in my head ” hope &  A future”  We have not rest knowing that God’s plan and purpose for our lives is for us to be Blessed. So my words for you is to grab on tight to the word of God, Increase your Faith & Encourage yourself. A change is coming!!!!

FaithBuilding| Scriptures to Build your Faith

Struggling in your faith? Does it seem like you have been waiting for a long time?

They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.

Keep in mind that God keeps his promises. This is a new season. We have to prepare our selves for the change and be in position for God to move in our situation.

If you are waiting on healing, financial break through or emotional releases, God has what you need.  You just have to trust him and keep the faith.

Live in expectancy!!! Look for signs of God moving on your behalf. When you see him blessing your brother or your sister, Celebrate (Put a praise in  the atmosphere) with them knowing that he is in your neighborhood…

Today ‘s Scriptures

For therein is the righteous of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith

Romans 1:17 (KJV)

Have I not commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thy goest.

Joshua 1:9 (KJV)

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Romans 10:17 (KJV)

For with God nothing shall be impossible.

Luke 1:37 (KJV)

He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he promised, he was able also to perform.

Romans 4:20-21 (KJV)

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

Romans 8:31 (KJV)

Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

Mark 9:23 (KJV)

(For we walk by faith and not by sight:)

II Corinthians 5:7 (KJV)

Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon the earth that I desire beside thee. My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever.

Psalm 73:25,26 (KJV)

Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

Jeremiah 32:27 (KJV)

Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.

Micah 7:8 (KJV)

Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect. But wilt thou know , O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

James 2:17

Happy Thanksgiving: What are you Thankful For?

Today I will only focus on the blessings in my life. Sometimes it may be hard to do. But with just a little effort, we can focus on the the good things that are going on in my life. I so thankful for my life and my family In this  year there has been some tough days but the good out weighs them all. I will not sit around and complain about what could have been or what was, but Give him Thanks and Praise for my Life today.

I hope that you will do the same. Make memories that last a lifetime.

Scriptures of Thanksgiving

Psalms 28:7 –The LORD is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart exults, And with my song I shall thank Him.

Psalm 69:30 I will praise the name of God with song, And shall magnify Him with thanksgiving.

Psalm 95:1-6 – O Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; Let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is a great God, And a great King above all gods, In whose hand are the depths of the earth; The peaks of the mountains are His also. The sea is His, for it was He who made it; And His hands formed the dry land. Come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker

In everything give Thanks!

Much love Nora

Something New,Something Old & Something Blue #OOTD

I take nothing for granted. Every day is a new opportunity to get those things done that you have not done yet. Do not get frustrated with the fact that you did not get it done yesterday but thank God for “Life”  and the opportunity that he has placed before you on this day.

So many are struggling with wondering why things didn’t happen they way that they plan. Have you every thought that maybe it was just not the time for it to happen.  Just maybe God has something better for you. Just maybe he is testing you to see if you are going to be Obedient! We are all full with Purpose and we must not get weary.  Do give up but keep moving forward…… Timing is everything…

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 KJV

[1] … To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: [2] A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; [3] A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; [4] A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; [5] A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; [6] A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; [7] A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; [8] A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. …
