Happy Thanksgiving: What are you Thankful For?

Today I will only focus on the blessings in my life. Sometimes it may be hard to do. But with just a little effort, we can focus on the the good things that are going on in my life. I so thankful for my life and my family In this  year there has been some tough days but the good out weighs them all. I will not sit around and complain about what could have been or what was, but Give him Thanks and Praise for my Life today.

I hope that you will do the same. Make memories that last a lifetime.

Scriptures of Thanksgiving

Psalms 28:7 –The LORD is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart exults, And with my song I shall thank Him.

Psalm 69:30 I will praise the name of God with song, And shall magnify Him with thanksgiving.

Psalm 95:1-6 – O Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; Let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is a great God, And a great King above all gods, In whose hand are the depths of the earth; The peaks of the mountains are His also. The sea is His, for it was He who made it; And His hands formed the dry land. Come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker

In everything give Thanks!

Much love Nora

Something New,Something Old & Something Blue #OOTD

I take nothing for granted. Every day is a new opportunity to get those things done that you have not done yet. Do not get frustrated with the fact that you did not get it done yesterday but thank God for “Life”  and the opportunity that he has placed before you on this day.

So many are struggling with wondering why things didn’t happen they way that they plan. Have you every thought that maybe it was just not the time for it to happen.  Just maybe God has something better for you. Just maybe he is testing you to see if you are going to be Obedient! We are all full with Purpose and we must not get weary.  Do give up but keep moving forward…… Timing is everything…

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 KJV

[1] … To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: [2] A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; [3] A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; [4] A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; [5] A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; [6] A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; [7] A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; [8] A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. …

There is purpose: Live on Purpose

Many times we go through things in our lives and we wonder, why are these things happening to me?

This is just a little reminder that there is a purpose in every situation. We have to just look for the signs to understand the purpose and know that God has not left you alone. He will not put more on you than you can handle. God has a purpose and a plan for all our lives. I am now living fully in my purpose. I understand that sometimes things happen for distractions and other things happen because it’s a part of the plan to get you where God is trying to take you/ me.

Jeremiah 29:11

Do you fully understand your purpose?

Are you walking in your purpose?

Seek the Lord for the plans that he has for your Life.

Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.

LIFEgivER : He has Risen as he said!!!

The song writer says ” Jesus went to Calvary to save a Sinner like You and Me…..That’s Love , three day later her Rose,  That’s Love….. I can’t get over the Love that Jesus shows to us on a day to day basis. Not only did he give his life on Calvary all those years go ,but he continues to to protect our families. He provides just what we need and he is sitting on the right hand of the father making intercession for us.

On Sunday we celebrated his resurrection. All over the world, people joined in the celebration one way or another to reflect of his giving of himself by making the ultimate sacrifice of giving his life that we might be free.

I do not take for granted the sacrifice that he as made and not only do I celebrate on Ressurrection Sunday, but everyday by living the best way that I know that pleases him.

The subject of our message was  “Have you lost enough to win”  powerful word of God- Mark 8:34-38 Self evaluation on what are you willing to give up for a true relationship with Christ.

Mark 8:34-38 KJV

[34] And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. [35] For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it. [36] For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? [37] Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? [38] Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

Our day was finished with family pictures and fellowship with our immediate family. We treasure our time with each other and I am very thankful for my family that God has blessed me with.

I pray that each of you will make the ultimate sacrifice to live a life pleasing and dedicated to God. Let him know that you love him for him giving his life that you might live.

Love brought us here….💒
