Sunday #OTTD |Focused- God Keeps his Promises|

Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart….Psalms 43:4

Sometimes it may be easier said than done. We all know that there are many distractions that may come across our paths to get us off the course and the path the God has designed for us. Yes God has designed a plan for each of us, but we have to be determined that no matter what comes my way I will stay in the will of God.

The simplest thing can get you out of the will of God. When you look at the simplest thing, you may have to think deep in order to see what I am referring to. I can be a TV show , spending time with the wrong friend, or sickness, working too much and the list could go on.

For me in these latter years, it has been sickness as I struggle daily in my body. I find myself not wanting to do anything because I become consumed in the physical pain that I am experiencing. Sometimes when you are in pain, you can’t see past the pain and you just give in to what is going in the natural. I am learning that I have to press passed the pain and God will give me the he strength to make it through the day. For me, it’s just “One”day at a time.

Whatever you are believing God for you do your part and he will do the rest. I am trusting God for total healing. I am still here and it’s by the Grace of God. I trust my best to be faithful and he Keeps his Promises!

YOU KEEP YOUR Focus! And he will do the rest…

Bounce Back

The only thing I can say is that you have to keep fighting. Sometimes this is easier said than done. Over the past few weeks, I have been in a struggle because I had major surgery.  It has been a real struggle to keep my mind  straight and the strength to fight through all the physical pain. In this writing, I will briefly share my experiences and tools that helped me and just might help you. I am on my ” Bounce Back”

I had a surgery where I was supposed to be in the hospital for maybe two days. Well those two days turned into 10 days of round the clock care. I thank God for a good treatment team and support system. I had a condition that was called ovarian remnant that had developed  a cyst (benign mass) that had created a blood supply and caused my internal organs to be matted together and had to be corrected. Also during the procedure my colon was injured and to be repaired. Long Road to recovery, as I have been very sick and over there past few days, I have begun to gain more of my strength back but not without a fight and a press. I thank God for prayer as when it felt that it was not getting better just calling/ humming “Jesus” gave me just the push to keep pushing.

“My Advice to Bounce Back”

Keep a positive attitude

Have a good support system (family , church family & friends)

Listen to others who have had similar experiences

Follow instructions of medical time

Be in a positive environment

Try to eat if at all possible (for a period of time, I could not keep anything down)

Keep scriptures before you to build your faith……

5Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. 6In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.‚ĶProverbs 3:5-6
